Train at Portland Park and Zoo

Happy 4th of July everybody.

We took a ride on the train around the Oregon Zoo.

Naomi took advantage of the no car seat thing and climbed all over the place for the whole 30 minute train ride.

What a beautiful princess.

That was a fun train ride on the steam locomotive.

Oregon Zoo

Dan had to go to training at Oregon State, so we went to Portland for Father's Day weekend. We went to the Oregon Zoo in Portland. We were definitely not used to the 80 degree sunny weather, but it sure was nice to have a day in the sun.  

Naomi loved watching the tigers circle round and round.

We went into the parakeet cage. 

No birdies came to say hello to Naomi.

We all loved the elephants.  

Rachel said one was the baby, one was the mommy, one was the grandpa, and one was  the sister.

What a fun zoo, but we sure missed our Hannah who was off having fun with grandpa and grandma.
