Naomi turns 8 today. We sure love our Naomi! We sure had a lot of fun with 7 year old Naomi. Can't wait to see what 8 brings! We love you Naomi!

Remlinger Farms with Joseph
Joseph and I went to Toddler Time at Remlinger Farms. He rode the flying corn and a little train and the little merry go round. He loved jumping in the hay. We had a picnic lunch and then picked a pie to bring home. That was a great day!
Playing at the Park
We've made great use of our beautiful parks whenever its not raining. We love our city Issaquah and its great parks. Wherever we go there's a fun park to find.

Touch a Truck
Joseph, Ashley and I went to the Issaquah Farmer's Market during touch a truck day. Joseph got to sit in an drive so many different trucks. He had a blast pushing all the buttons and pulling all the levers. So fun to watch him as a truck driver. Happy Day!
Mariner's Fan Fest 2019
Joseph and I went to the Mariner's Fan Fest. He did the bouncy house slide a hundred times, got his face painted, and won a prize spinning the wheel. Joseph pitched from the mound and we played catch and tag out in center field. It was so, so fun.
Leprechaun hunt
Around St. Patrick's Day we went into Seattle to go on a Leprechaun hunt at a arboretum. There were different stations the kids had to find and get a stamp to collect their prize. We found the Leprechaun's gold too. Afterwards we went to Carkeek Park and slid down the fish slides. Then we went to a nearby Rock and Gem show for Rachel. Another busy fun family day.

Easter 2019
We had another great Mason family hunting season. Easter is a wonderful time of year. We decorated eggs a few times. Naomi missed the first hunt as she was recovering from puking in the backseat coming home from Olympic National Park. Rachel and Hannah got so many eggs. Some kids showed up late and missed all the hunt, so Hannah and Rachel shared some of their eggs.
On Easter weekend we went to a hunt in Sammamish with tons of kids. For the older kids hunt, the thousands of eggs were devoured in seconds. We then went to a hunt at a church across from the tunnel park. There were too many eggs, the kids baskets were overflowing and still eggs were left on the ground. The church's pastor shared the story of Easter and then they had hot dogs and bouncy houses.
Then we went to Gilman Village in Issaquah and went store to store collecting eggs. Sadly the night time flashlight hunt on Mercer Island was budget cut this year.
On Easter morning we had early church, so we had to wait to do the home Easter egg hunt afterwards. We built some magic tracks and then went to Uncle Josh and Aunt Karissa's for Easter dinner. Yummy Easter Ham! Happy Easter!

UW Husky Spring Football '19
Naomi, Joseph and I went to the University of Washington's spring football fan fest. We played some games, the kids got some prizes, and then we went outside to watch some football. It started sprinkling, Naomi wanted a pretzel so we walked around a long time to find one, but we got her one. Such a fun time with my little kiddos who I love spending time with.

Super Bowl 2019
Last year I was in Alaska and missed the Superbowl and Hannah's birthday. This year we had a great time together. We made brownie footballs and football cake pops, jello jigglers in football shapes and a muffuletta sandwich. Yummy fun. Too bad the Rams forgot to show up for the game.
Hannah's 12th Birthday
For Hannah's birthday we went to the Snohomish Aquatic Center to their indoor water park. Hannah brought her friend Jade along. We got the most snow in the past 100 years here in Seattle, so it was a snowy birthday. Hannah picked Dominos and macarons for her birthday dinner. Happy Birthday Hannah. We love you, you pre-teen!
Rachel's 10th Birthday
For Rachel's 10th birthday we went to the Seattle Pacific Science Center and played in the butterfly room. Then we played at the Seattle Center playground and went out to dinner at Olive Garden. Rachel had her friend Malu over for Cake and fun on Monday with no school. On Tuesday after school on her real birthday we had dinner and presents and then went to the Funtastic Playtorium. Happy Birthday Rachel!
Memorial Day '19
On Memorial Day we went to our church's picnic and softball game. Joseph came and played in the outfield with me then we played our own little baseball game out in center field. The girls had fun scootering around the park. Then we headed to Emerald Downs to watch the horse races during family fun days with bounce houses and pony rides. Afterwards we picked up pizza and went to a splash park in Auburn for a picnic dinner. Hannah's friend Jade came along. It was a busy fun filled day.
Father's Day 2019
I had a great Father's Day! On Saturday we went to West Seattle and took a surrey to Marination Mai Kai for some delicious lunch and shaved ice. Then we went to the Whale Tail park and then to Alki Beach. Then we went to Lincoln Park where we went swimming at Coleman Pool, a heated salt water pool right overlooking the Puget Sound. Then we picked up some giant pizza slices and an icee and headed to another little park for a picnic. The park had lots of little vehicles to ride. It was a busy awesome day with my fun family.
Sunday we went to church where the kids sang to all the fathers. I grilled ribs and the kids made dirt and worms and pineapple upside down donuts. I opened some great homemade presents. We spent the day home, recuperating from the previous day. It was a great weekend. I sure felt loved by the family. Happy Father's Day!
