Hearst Castle and Elephant Seals
On our first day without the kids we drove down to Hearst Castle and to see the elephant seals.

| It was so windy! And pretty smelly! |

| These are just the juveniles, the BIG ones were up trying to visit us in Seattle and Alaska. |

| These seals can dive down one mile! And hold their breath for an hour! Woah! |
 |
| They bus you to the Hearst castle up on the top of the hill. |
 |
| A word to the wise, if you step off the carpet, you get a whipping from the guides. |
 |
| It was considered "classy" to have bottled condiments back in the day. |
 |
| California has no water, so no water in the outside pool. |
 |
| California has enough water for the indoor pool |
