San Diego USS Midway Air Craft Carrier

The downtown San Diego Embassy Suites hotel overlooked the USS Midway Air Craft Carrier. We walked around it after dinner along the San Diego boardwalk.

Ashley got some fancy Tijuana jewelry along the boardwalk. 

We had some delicious food at my Grandpa's favorite Greek restaurant along the boardwalk. 

Swimming at the Hotel

The girls loved swimming in the hotel's pool and hot tub. Hannah, our little fish, doesn't need water wings. She was swimming all over the place. I love to swim with our little girls.

Hannah let Naomi push her in. Hannah didn't need to ask me to do it. Hahaha!

Driving Home

We had a fun filled weekend in Portland.

I was the guest of the day at our hotel which meant I got two bottles of water and a chocolate bar. Wow. And the sign.

Naomi kept herself busy reading books and watching shows on the way home.

Off to California

We drove to the bay area to spend Thanksgiving with the Mason's. It was a long drive.

We stopped in Medford, Oregon and our hotel had a pool and a giant water slide!

We drove past Facebook's headquarters, just up the street from my parent's home.

Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR

Ashley, Rachel, and Naomi stayed two days with me at Oregon State University. On Sunday night as we checked into the hotel, we saw fighter jets fly by. It was OSU's graduation and the first lady was there for the commencement. The next evening we went and visited the football stadium.

Dinner at Chevy's and the Hotel

After the Oregon zoo we went to Dan's favorite restaurant, Chevy's.

Naomi ate her weight in beans.

 Then we headed across the street to our hotel.

Naomi played in the suitcase while daddy and Rachel went swimming in the hotel pool.
