Girls Night In

A few weeks ago Hannah and I had a girls night while Dan was working late and Rachel was sleeping. We had popcorn and watched a movie together. Thanks Hannah! I had so much fun with you!

New Do

Rachel has this funny habit of pulling her own hair while eating. It often results in a very stylish hair-do...and at least one bath a day.

Dancing Hannah

This girl cracks me up!

Rachel is 9 months!

plus a few weeks (but hey--who's counting?)

Rachel weighs 15 lbs. 11oz. (3rd%) and is 27 3/4" long (75th%)

She is a crawling machine. She pulls herself to stand. She creeps along the furniture. She wants to be a big girl and only eats "real" food. She STILL hasn't said "mama." She LOVES to play with Hannah. She has the cutest smile I've ever seen. I love her. Happy 9 month's Rachel. We love you!

Pumpkin Carving

Grrrr. I wanna complain about blogger. I hate that it no long allows me to edit the order of the photos! I hope someone out there is doing something about it. Because it makes me mad.
So here are the photos from our pumpkin carving this year (in reverse order).

Poor little Rachel didn't enjoy pumpkin carving very much.

She did try to play along for a while.

Hannah was a little unsure at first. But then she really had fun. She didn't want to touch the guts, but she did a great job with her spoon.

Halloween 09

Happy Halloween everyone! We had a great time with the girls on Halloween this year.
We started out the day by going trick-or-treating at a local shopping center, Gillman Village.

Pool Time with Nana

It was really hot when we were in LA. The girls (and Jake the dog) went in the pool to cool down.

Long Beach Aquarium

Once again I am unable to arrange the orders of the photos (anyone know why??). But here are the photos from our trip to the Long Beach Aquarium..

I thought it was so funny how Rachel was relaxing in the stroller. She cracks me up.

Did you know that fish like lettuce? Apparently they do. That's what this diver was carrying and all the fish were swarming to get some.

Hannah really wanted to hold a bird. But the sign's said no touching. She was really good and didn't touch.

She kept holding out her hand hoping one would fly to her.

They had a little stage for a children's theatre. Hannah got called up out of the audience to play the turtle. It's funny watching a 2 year old on stage. She kept dissappearing. All the other kids were just as distracted, but it was fun to watch.
