Mariners with Rachel

Rachel and I went to a Mariners baseball game together. We tried a Seattle Dog and ate lots of Easter candy, red rope, and soda. It was fun spending time with Rachel at the ballpark.

Rachel tried a bite of the Seattle Dog with cream cheese and grilled onions.

We came to see long time former Mariner Ichiro come play against the Mariners. Everyone was cheering for fan favorite Ichiro.

That was fun!

Dads at Recess

I've made it to the last 2 Dads at Recess where dads get to come to school for recess and lunch the first Friday of each month. Each daughter has a different recess and lunch so I get to spend time with each girl along with 300 other kids. It's a great time.

Naomi was laying on the pavement waiting for me to show up.

Hannah and I went to Power Rangers movie for a daddy daughter date

It was pouring rain at recess and Hannah left her coat in class.

They have a room for indoor activities during the rainy recess. Naomi drew some beautiful flowers.

What a loud, fun time to spend with my girls.

Rachel's Baptism

We came to the Bay Area for Rachel's baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with lots of the family. Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncle, and friends were all there to celebrate such a happy occasion. We sure love our beautiful Rachel and are happy for her choice.

California San Jose Mission

It rained a lot. So much that our favorite Happy Hollow Park & Zoo flooded and was closed. Since we have a 4th grader, California 4th graders study the Spanish Missions located throughout the state, we went on a tour of the local San Jose Mission and then played at Fremont's Central Park.

Fremont's Central Park had a great playgound

Rachel and Joseph really liked playing with the ducks

Rachel was acting like the momma duck, directing the duck traffic

Even though the zoo was closed, we sure had a happy day. It was a dream come true for Grandpa to take his grand kids to a Mission.
