Circus

A few weeks ago we went to the circus!

At first Rachel wasn't too excited, but after a while she enjoyed the show.

Both girls really liked seeing the dogs.

Little Hannah rode the elephant.

Hannah got to ride the ponies twice since Rachel...um...declined her ticket.

I'm not sure how well you can see this, but this 12 year old girl is walking on a pole that is held by the two tight rope walkers a hundred feet in the air. They were amazing!

We really liked seeing the elephants. I didn't know that an elephant really can stand on a ball. Pretty impressive.

Thanks for taking us to the circus Dan! We had such a fun time.

Mother's Day 2010

We had a really nice Mother's day this year. I got some nice gifts and had a beautiful sunny day. Thanks Dan for making the day so wonderful.
Here are some pictures of the girls and I after church.

I sure do love my wonderful girls. Thanks Dan for working so hard so I can stay home with them and be a good mommy. Love you!

New-do!

If I had to guess what Rachel would be when she grows up I think I would guess Cosmetologist. Just like my Grandma.

I've posted about how much she likes to dress up. But lately she's been wanting her hair done. And she knows what she wants.
As many piggy tails as she can get. Topped off with a few headbands and clips.
Here she is bringing me MORE elastics.
She likes to carry around the little drawer that houses all the "hair fixings."

Everyday she wants her hair done--and she cries when I stop at one or two.

So far our record is 8 piggy tails (plus several headbands and clips).

Oh, Rachel! We love you.

Sheep Shearing Festival 2010

A few weekends ago we got to go to the Sheep Shearing Festival at Kelsey Creek Farm in Bellvue. We played at the little playground for a while so the girls could get out some energy.

Hannah liked pushing Rachel in the swing.

Where did Hannah go?

Hannah liked to pet the sheep with their new hair cuts.
Rachel wouldn't touch the sheep. I tried guiding her hand but she refused. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Here is the wool from one of the sheep.

They had a honeycomb and were giving out samples of fresh honey. Yum. Hannah liked to see all the bees working hard to make they yummy honey.

Hannah petting a bunny that weighs almost as much as Rachel.

Dan got Rachel to pet the bunny!

Here we are on the tractor ride.

Hannah found a big stick that she wanted to bring home. Sorry, little Hannah.

Sunday Dresses

We had a sunny Sunday and the girls got to wear some of their cute new dresses.
Aren't they cute?

Poor Rachel wanted to go for a ride in the wagon.

Happy Sunday!
And Happy Mothers Day!
