4th of July 2010

We got back from Utah on the 3rd of July. So we were still pretty tired from our trip. But we couldn't pass up Issaquah's free community celebration.
There were jumping houses:

While we were waiting in line for the ponies Rachel got really attached to this cone. She didn't want to leave it.

So, while Rachel stood on the cone, Hannah rode the ponies.

The girls each got a balloon and then it was time to go home.

We planned on taking the girls to see the fireworks that night but it ended up raining. Maybe next year!

Our Day in Utah

We got to stay with Sara, Nate, and Eliza while we were in Utah for the funeral. We didn't have much time there but the girls LOVED playing with Eliza. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of them together (sorry).
Hannah and Papa on the swing set.
Sara and Nate live in the condo where we used to live. While Dan worked there he built a swingset for the grounds. We made sure to take the girls there to play.
At first there were mostly tears because the girls were overtired. But after a while they warmed up.

Hannah had fun pushing Rachel in the swing.

The girls dipped thier feet in the pool. They really wanted to go swimming but we had a plane to catch. Maybe next time.
Thanks Olsen's for letting us stay with you. Hopefully next time the trip won't be so crazy.

Grannie's Funeral

While we were in San Francisco my Grannie passed away. We flew to Utah for her funeral. I didn't take any pictures while we were there, so I borrowed these from my brother (thanks, Jereme).

Here is my mom with her siblings at the viewing.
Rachel was not having a good day, so I was out in the hall with Rachel, but Hannah was so good. She played with her aunts and uncles and my parents.
After the funeral at the burial.

Poor girls! It was so hot and they were so good.
The closest thing we got to a family photo while we were all together.
Despite the sad occasion, we enjoyed seeing my family.
