Birthday Party Fun

We attended a super fun birthday party for some friends during our trip.
Hannah loved the giant slide.
Rachel was having a hard day. I took her down the slide but she didn't seem to enjoy it that much.

She mostly preferred to stand by me while eating crackers and dancing quietly with her snug.

The cake. The party was Italian themed, hence the "bowl of spaghetti" cake.

Hannah and Grandma on the big slide.

They have a zip line and little Hannah decided to try it all by herself. Luckily Grandma was near by and caught the rope. Hannah had a blast.

Grandpa got his face painted.

Our friends, James and Chase, showing me thier scary faces!

It sure was a fun party. Not pictured: the stilt-walkers, all the yummy food, the delicious pizza (yes, it get's to be mentioned seperately), all the friends, the beautiful flowers, the clowns, the face painter, the conga line. I was glued to Rachel for most of the night and she was not in a picture taking kind-of mood. Thanks for letting us come to such a fun party!

6 Wonderful Years!

Dan and I celebrated our 6th anniversary while we were in San Francisco. Dan surprised me with a date in the city and WICKED!
We started out our day by visiting Taqueria la Cumbre for some yummy Mexican food. We heard about this restaraunt here. It was good, but we still think this one is better.

Then we went to Pier 39 to visit the sea lions. Dan always likes to see them.

After the pier we walked around little Italy for a while and we went here for dinner. So yummy.
Then it was off to Wicked. It was so much fun. I'm so glad that I've finally seen Wicked. It was a really great day. I loved getting to spend the whole day--kid free (thanks Grandma and Grandpa for watching the girls)--with my wonderful husband. Thank's, Dan, for such a great day. I love you.

Grandpa's Birthday

After a fun morning at Happy Hollow we went to Armadillo Willy's for a yummy BBQ lunch. Hannah liked to eat the ketchup.

Here is Hannah enjoying the ketchup. Grandpa did share some fries with her, but she seemed to prefer to dip her finger into the ketchup and lick them clean.

Dan and I enjoying the ribs.

Dan really enjoying the ribs.

Here is Hannah helping Grandpa blow out his candles. We are so glad we could be there to help Grandpa celebrate his birthday!

Grandpa's Birthday-Happy Hollow

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday by going to Happy Hollow--a children's amusement park that Dan went to as a child. Happy Hollow has recently been re-done and it was fun to see the girls enjoy all the rides.

It was so cute to see these cousins having fun together. Eliza got to ride in Hannah's car. Eliza waved at everyone the whole ride. We think she is practicing to be a beauty queen.

Little Rachel is getting so big! She drove the car all by herself. Yea Rachel!

Aw. Cousins.

This bouncy ladybug ride seemed to be Rachel's favorite. It was fun for us to see the three girls riding together.
Rachel rode the ladybug a few extra times.

Hannah and Rachel rode Danny the Dragon with Grandma and Grandpa.
They have a petting zoo at Happy Hollow. I know Hannah loves goats, but I was surprised by how much Rachel loved the goats, too. She kept feeding them and petting them. She let the goats nibble her shirt. She only cried when they wouldn't eat the pellets or if they ran away from her. Thanks, Uncle Tim, for sharing your goat snacks with my girls.

Yea for cousin Eliza!
