Story Time

A few nights ago while I was making dinner the girls decided to read some books together.




I was pretty surprsied when I found that they had gathered so many books for story time.




This activity kept them busy for quite a while.

Naptime Snuggles

Hannah likes to read books to Rachel and always wants Rachel to snuggle with her at naptime.

Singing Hannah

Here is a little something for the grandma's since I haven't posted anything in a while. I have lots to post about, but not a lot of time since little Rachel is right in the middle of her "separation anxiety" stage and cries whenever I put her down. Hopefully I can make some time this week to update the blog. Look forward to posts about our recent trip to San Francisco, Dan the Mountain Man, Rachel's 6 month check-up, Hannah's 2 1/2 birthday cake, the blue angels and lots more!

Every morning Hannah likes to read books to Rachel in the rocking chair. It makes me so happy to see them playing together. They are such lucky girls to have each other. Hooray for sisters!

It was a little too quiet the other day and Hannah's door was shut. That usually means trouble. I was pleasantly surprised to find Hannah reading one of her favorite books.

Tiki Tiki Tembo

Hannah has discovered a new book. Her new favorite is Tiki tiki tembo. After reading the story to her a few times she just started saying the whole name! I was impressed.

"Tiki tiki tembo no sa rembo chari bari ruchi pip peri pembo."

We're Going On A Bear Hunt

For Hannah's birthday Grannie sent Hannah's favorite book. She started reading it as soon as she opened it. Sorry it's such a long video.

"We're going on a bear hunt. We're going to catch a big one. What a beautiful day. We're not scared."

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Today is Grandma's birthday. Happy birthday Cheryl!

Grandma Cheryl always reads this great book to Hannah and it is one of Hannah's favorite's. I wish I had gotten the camera out sooner because the beginning is my favorite part. Thanks to Cheryl for introducing this great book to Hannah and Happy Birthday!
