Good Eats!

We had some delicious food on our trip. I made sure to go to all three Man vs Food stops in San Diego. Phil's BBQ, Lucha Libre Burritos, and the Broken Yolk Cafe. I hope you're hungry!
This was the line. Good thing the line for take out was much shorter.
Tri tip and pulled pork sandwiches with a rib tickler. The best!
Lucha Libre Burritos
We shared the steak and shrimp burrito and the steak, avocado and french fry burrito!
We went to my Grandpa's favorite Greek place, Little Atheno's in downtown San Diego along the boardwalk.
We stopped at Casa de Frutta on the way back to S.F. because we saw a sign for Casa de Burrito until we found out it was in a Chevron. No thanks for Gas Station burritos.
Broken Yolk Cafe. I got a Monte Cristo for breakfast. A ham and swiss sandwich with french toast, powdered sugar, and strawberry jam. It was the best!
Ashley was brave and tried the eggs benedict for the first time. Yummy!
Tri tip Nachos at the Padres game
A giant polish at the Giants game
My favorite burrito in the whole world at La Bambas doing my best "My Name is Earl" impression.
Burritos at Iguana Burritos, home of the 5 lb burrito also on Man vs Food San Jose.
Sharing fish, shrimp, scallops, and calamari on Catalina.
We went to my favorite burrito place in the bay area a few times. We went to Ashley's favorite Mexican food with her parents and to Bubba Gump's for some shrimp with them. Good food sure is fun to find. Sorry dad, the hot dog from the A's game doesn't make the list.

Lunch Time

Here is Naomi trying rice cereal for the first time. You can't really tell from the pictures, but she pretty much hated it. She gagged, cried and kept pushing the spoon away.

We have tried a few more times since then and so far Naomi isn't liking solid foods. We will keep trying.

My Favorite Dinner

Twice a year (my birthday and Christmas) Dan makes us his delicious home made pasta. The girls love to help him.
I love this tradition.

Hungry, Hungry Rachel

Rachel is pretty "scrappy" but she can eat. This is a typical breakfast for this 22lb. girl.
yogurt (a whole big one), cereal with milk, a pancake (or two), fruit, and milk to drink.

We love a girl who can eat!

Birthday Party Fun

We attended a super fun birthday party for some friends during our trip.
Hannah loved the giant slide.
Rachel was having a hard day. I took her down the slide but she didn't seem to enjoy it that much.

She mostly preferred to stand by me while eating crackers and dancing quietly with her snug.

The cake. The party was Italian themed, hence the "bowl of spaghetti" cake.

Hannah and Grandma on the big slide.

They have a zip line and little Hannah decided to try it all by herself. Luckily Grandma was near by and caught the rope. Hannah had a blast.

Grandpa got his face painted.

Our friends, James and Chase, showing me thier scary faces!

It sure was a fun party. Not pictured: the stilt-walkers, all the yummy food, the delicious pizza (yes, it get's to be mentioned seperately), all the friends, the beautiful flowers, the clowns, the face painter, the conga line. I was glued to Rachel for most of the night and she was not in a picture taking kind-of mood. Thanks for letting us come to such a fun party!

6 Wonderful Years!

Dan and I celebrated our 6th anniversary while we were in San Francisco. Dan surprised me with a date in the city and WICKED!
We started out our day by visiting Taqueria la Cumbre for some yummy Mexican food. We heard about this restaraunt here. It was good, but we still think this one is better.

Then we went to Pier 39 to visit the sea lions. Dan always likes to see them.

After the pier we walked around little Italy for a while and we went here for dinner. So yummy.
Then it was off to Wicked. It was so much fun. I'm so glad that I've finally seen Wicked. It was a really great day. I loved getting to spend the whole day--kid free (thanks Grandma and Grandpa for watching the girls)--with my wonderful husband. Thank's, Dan, for such a great day. I love you.
