Father's Day 2019

I had a great Father's Day! On Saturday we went to West Seattle and took a surrey to Marination Mai Kai for some delicious lunch and shaved ice. Then we went to the Whale Tail park and then to Alki Beach. Then we went to Lincoln Park where we went swimming at Coleman Pool, a heated salt water pool right overlooking the Puget Sound. Then we picked up some giant pizza slices and an icee and headed to another little park for a picnic. The park had lots of little vehicles to ride. It was a busy awesome day with my fun family.

Sunday we went to church where the kids sang to all the fathers. I grilled ribs and the kids made dirt and worms and pineapple upside down donuts. I opened some great homemade presents. We spent the day home, recuperating from the previous day. It was a great weekend. I sure felt loved by the family. Happy Father's Day!

Mariners Game with the Family

For Father's Day we went to a Mariners Game against the Detroit Tigers. It was Joseph's first Mariners game. It was pretty memorable!
The Mariners now sell toasted crickets with peppers and lime salt. I told the girls if they tried 1, they could get any dessert they wanted.

Those are some adventurous kiddos. Naomi's the only smart one who didn't try it.

Their treats for trying crickets

What a fun night. We left early, but the Mariners hung on for the win.

The family gave me a great Father's Day.

They made me a breakfast sandwich where the buns were made out of hash browns.Yum!

Joseph and I walked down to the Fenders on Front Street

This car had a working grill in it and it drives. Wow!

The girls made me a pineapple upside down cake

And mashed potatoes

To go with my stuffed pork chops

Joseph got me Lego Batman. We watched it that day

The girls made me some awesome gifts.

I got some great books to read to Joseph
