Hannah's Baptism!

Hannah got baptized! We were in LA so lots of family could come. It was such a happy day.

Lots of family came to be a part of Hannah's special day

Hannah got baptized in the same baptismal font as Ashley did many, many moons ago.
Hannah picked 2 giant burritos for her party afterwards
And a yummy cake and root beer floats
And lots of balloons

Rachel ate her fill of cake and root beer floats

Best day ever!

Pinks Hot Dogs

After the Tar pits we stopped at LA's famous Pink's Hot Dogs. The girls we excited to see all the different kinds of hot dogs.

Ashley got the Giada de Laurentis dog with grilled peppers. onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and lots of mozzarella
I got the burrito filled with chili, cheese, bacon, and a spicy polish. It was so big and spicy Ashley had to help me finish it. Oh the shame!
Rachel was so tired after the busy day she fell asleep like that.

La Brea Tar Pits

We visited the La Brea Tar Pits in downtown LA. Good thing we didn't get stuck in the tar. We did get stuck in a lot of traffic.

Learning what it feels like to be stuck in tar

Rachie was in heaven, lots of small tiny things to look at, her favorite.

Doing cousin Eli's elephant sign

Rachel loves puzzles

Help, I'm being attacked by a saber toothed Hannah!

Now by wolf Rachel!
Uh oh they've teamed up to get the big sloth

We went on the excavator tour where they showed us a tar pit filled with bones
Rachie got the best spot right next to the tour guide
The girl with the cell phone was visiting from Issaquah, too.
