San Francisco

We walked along Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. There is a homeless man who hides behind a branch on the sidewalk. He scared us good.

We love to see the sea lions.

Alcatraz
We watched the Boudin workers make their world famous Sourdough bread.

There's nothing better than a round of fresh San Francisco Sourdough bread.

We liked looking at all the fresh seafood for sale.

We shared a crab cocktail (Ashley had one bite) with little bits of shell and sand. That's when you know its straight from the bay! Yummy!

Ghirardelli Square

Ashley and I visited Ghirardelli Square along the San Francisco waterfront.

Ashley got, hands down, the best brownie in the world, topped with delicious ice cream. You definitely need to try it.

I got a delicious Hot Fudge Black Cherry ice cream sundae.
They were so busy than ran out of dishware so we got wimpy plastic cups, but it was still out of this world yummy as always.

Cheering on the 49ers

My girls did a great job cheering on the 49ers! It sure is loud and exciting watching the game with them.

Boo Hoo

My beloved 49ers lost. They had a chance to win the game and couldn't do it. On our visit to San Francisco, I stopped by Candlestick, home to the 49ers to say good bye. They are moving to a new Stadium and will blow up the stadium where many of my most cherished childhood memories took place.

Another Superbowl was SO close. Darnit!
