This Girl Cracks Me Up!

The other morning we pulled out some puzzles and Hannah insisted on sitting in her old Bumbo.
Remember I mentioned the discovery of silly faces?

I finally got a real smile. We had a fun morning.

Have We Mentioned?

Rachel is potty trained! Yea! Go Rachel!

We still do diapers at night, but that's it! She is getting to be such a big girl!

A Trip to the Mall

When we take Dan to work we sometimes go to a little mall in Bellevue. The girls love to ride all the little rides there.

The great thing is they are only a quarter, so they get to ride them all!

Tub Time

A few pictures of the girls:

Concerts on the Green

A few weekas ago we went to one of the free summer concerts here in Issaquah. Right across the street from the concert was a big hill and....

...well, you get the idea (did you spot Hannah?).
Little Rachel was so brave!
After a few turns, she looked like she was done sliding and...

...decided to dance to the music instead.

Where did all this cardboard come from? Oh. The dumpster. Thanks, kids.

The park was pretty packed.
Hannah had so much fun!
Now that we know about this great hill (and the convenient dumpster nearby) we want it to snow this winter!

The Wheels on the Bus

A few weeks ago the girls and I decided to give our free city bus a try. We had such a fun day. On our walk to the bus stop we picked flowers,

looked for fish in the stream,

went to the little market and sat on the bench to wait for the bus.

The girls really liked getting to ride on the bus.

We ate some yummy doughnuts on the bus, too. We took the bus to our favorite store, Target. We shopped at Target and then took the bus home again. We had lots of fun and I think we will take the bus again soon.

I Wanna Hold Your Hand

There has been a lot of this going on around here lately:

It takes some convincing for Rachel to allow Hannah to hold her hand, but in the end Rachel usually gives in and has fun.

I love it.

SEA Company Luau

We got to go to the Safeway Employee Association Company Luau at Remlinger Farms. We love Remilnger Farms.

Hannah driving the cars

There were a few jumping houses to play on. This one took Hannah a few minutes to decide it was safe to be eaten by the alligator.
They had a climbing wall and Hannah got to try it.

She was really brave and climbed really high.
"When you're all done you just let go, Mommy. And the rope catches you. And then Daddy will help you down!"
Way to go Hannah!
There was plenty of yummy food and lots of dessert.

Everyone got tattoo's except Hannah.

It was a hot day. Hannah stayed well hydrated.

Rachel and Daddy riding the flying pumpkins.

I think this was Rachel's favorite ride.

Hannah rode the ponies.

Did I mention it was hot? Well, it was. The girl running the ride asked if I wanted to ride, too. Sure, why not? The girls thought it was pretty funny. While Hannah was riding the real ponies, Rachel rode this one.

Here they are on the train.
Picking flower together.
We had so much fun! Thanks, Dan!
