Monterrey Bay Aquarium

Here we are, kidless, at the Monterrey Bay aquarium. Instead of trapping you in our living room to subject you to the hundreds of aquarium sea life pictures that Ashley took over our 2 days at the aquarium, we're using the web to get you wherever you may be. Haha. Sorry, no leaving the page...until you finish our slide show.

Talk about taking your work with you on vacation. This is an old retort from Cannery row. It's what food processor's use to cook your canned foods. The next time you open a can of sardines...remember, I might have inspected what you're eating...are you sure you'll still want to eat it?

The little brown clump far off in the water was a bunch of sea otters having a good time.

We had some beautiful sunny, windy weather.

That's it, our slide show is all done. Congratulations, you made it through it. We had a great time just the two of us. After the aquarium we went and picked out some famous salt water taffy, ate some shrimp at Bubba Gumps and then shared a Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae from Ghirardelli Chocolates. Good times.

Trip to the Bay Area

Over Memorial Day weekend, we went home to see Grandma and Grandpa.

Dan "got to" sit in between Hannah and Rachel. Rachel kept the window shut the whole flight, so we couldn't see anything. Boooo!

 While the girls were having fun with Grandma and Grandpa, we went to spend a few days as a couple in Monterrey Bay.

We went to an A's vs Giants game in Oakland and were unprepared for the bitterly cold winds and the Giants' loss. Thank goodness for hot chocolate and getting to see Buster Posey in person.

We had to wake up before the crack of dawn to get to the airport to head back to rainy Seattle.

Naomi was in heaven watching the airplanes.

We had lots of fun, sunny weather, delicious food, and a great time. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.
