For our anniversary we went to the tide pools at Golden Gardens Beach in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. Hannah was in school while we went.
That's a big crab!
Touching a live crab. Don't get pinched!
Pretty brave
A baby jelly fish
Another huge crab
We found a little crab
Rachel found a sea snail
This crab was bright red
We found this Moon Snail. That hole foot part can shrink down and fit into its shell.
There it shrinks.
Rachel, our shell collector
another crab
Ashley found a jelly fish. Can you see it?
A baby star fish
There goes Hobo Rachel with her knapsack of shells. So cute.

Wow, pretty cool. I've never been to a "grassy" tide pool. Fun.
Such a fun day! Thanks Dan :)
Looks fun! I wanna go!
Your tide pools are way better than ours!! I've never seen such a big crab in the wild before. Love the photos- thanks!!
It looks like you could have had a great crab dinner. Happy Anniversary!
