Montana

Montana was beautiful with streams flowing along the freeway as we climbed over mountain and mountain. We saw a family of elk with babies taking a drink. We drove through a sea of flies and a couple white wash rainstorms.
Our first stop was in downtown Missoula for a carousel ride and playing at a fun park.

I picked up a patsy, a Montana favorite, a meat and potato stuffed giant hot pocket that miners would take down with them for lunch

And a fried pork chop sandwich.
It was pouring rain so we had to skip the tour of the Mining town in Butte.
The kids fought basically the entire time driving. Joseph screamed pretty much the entire drive. The kids would always start screaming their heads off right while driving through the top of the multiple curvy, dangerous mountain passes. Not a pleasant 30+ hours driving.

We made it to Bozeman and the Museum of the Rockies with 15 minutes to spare before it closed.

A real T-Rex Skeleton!!!!

Real T-Rex heads!

Dinosaurs!!!

The world's largest playable guitar.

Our hotel had a water slide. Joseph went down screaming with me one time.

Naomi's video wouldn't load....

We went to the Bozeman hot springs that had 20 different pools with varying temperatures all warmed by hot springs.

We spent the summer solstice sunset in the outside hot springs pools listening to live music. It was awesome.
